A group associated with Anonymous has reportedly hacked an alleged Islamic State supporter website and replaced it with a message to chill out and an advertisement for an online pharmacy.
It's been reported IS and IS supporter websites are moving their websites onto the dark web in an attempt to stay protected and hidden online.
But Anonymous-linked group GhostSec found a propaganda website supposedly controlled by IS, also known as ISIS, on the dark web, took it down, and replaced it with a message to chill out as well as an advertisement for an online pharmacy reportedly run by GhostSec.
After hacking the website, GhostSec reportedly hacked in and uploaded the message, entitled "Too Much ISIS".
The message read, "Enhance your calm. Too many people are into this ISIS-stuff. Please gaze upon this lovely ad so we can upgrade our infrastructure to give you ISIS content you all so desperately crave."
Reportedly the pharmacy sells prescription drugs such as Viagra and Prozac. The website associated with the online chemist in the ad has since been pulled down, but a similiar site appears to still exist at a different address.
Before the ISIS website was taken off the internet it was believed to be one of many web pages to share and repost ISIS propaganda.
Last week Anonymous declared war on ISIS with a video posted to YouTube, but until now the battlegrounds of this war have been mainly centred around Twitter, with groups linked to the hackers taking down a reported 5500 Twitter accounts with links to IS.
