Why are parking fees at Westfield Hurstville higher than those levied at Westfield Miranda?
The Miranda centre offers more shops and much better facilities.
There is only one bank of two lifts at Hurstville, the same lifts which malfunctioned regularly in the past.
By comparison there are multiple banks of lifts at Miranda. Not to mention the pathetic traffic flow through Hurstville.
Recently I drove from Hurstville Community Hospital to Hurstville Grove on a Friday afternoon.
Due to traffic flow through Hurstville this trip took in excess of one hour.
We have lived in this area for more than 35 years.
Many years ago Hurstville was a very good shopping centre.
I understand the logic behind charging parking fees to ensure spaces are available for genuine shoppers, but why would I pay higher fees to park at Westfield Hurstville when I can enjoy improved facilities at lower cost at Westfield Miranda?
