Want to check out this year’s Tropfest films in Sutherland Shire?
Hazelhurst Gallery will screen the short-film festival from its grounds on Valentine’s Day, February 14 via satellite.
Tropfest is the largest short film festival in the world.
Former Leader journalist Nick Baker with his shire school friend Tristan Klein, who have won both Sydney and New York Tropfest, are hoping to make this year’s their third winner.
Finalists for the Trop Jr title will also be premiering as the world’s largest short film festival for children, by children.
The community is invited to bring a picnic blanket (no chairs) and join fellow film-goers in the gallery’s garden setting for a free evening of entertainment, food and drinks.
Gates open at 5pm with screening to starts at 7.30pm (Trop Jr) and at 9pm (Tropfest).
