Construction is moving fast on the new Rockdale Library.
Demolition began on the old library in December 2014 with the new foundation stones laid in July 2015.
The new library will replace the temporary one and will include a new customer service centre, meeting rooms, open plan library floor area with an information zone, returns room, children's library and a cafe on the ground floor.
The new building is slowly being revealed to the public as the scaffold is removed.
The library and customer services area is almost complete with roof sheeting, external glazing and cladding underway.
Inside ceilings and walls are already up.
The library is expected to be completed in June.
