Cronulla’s beautiful beaches and busy cafes will be promoted to potential visitors across NSW in a TV program on Saturday.
Sydney Weekender is screened at 5:30pm on the Seven Network in Sydney and on the Prime Network across NSW and the ACT,
In the February 13 episode, Cronulla will be featured along with other parts of Sydney, Blue Mountains and South Coast under a partnership with the state government to promote the experiences on offer across NSW.
Cronulla MP and Environment Minister Mark Speakman said the episode had been secured by the government’s tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.
“Cronulla boasts the longest stretch of beach in Sydney with miles of golden sand and surf, and we are thrilled that Sydney Weekender will be showcasing this region to potential visitors,” he said.
“The episode will feature one of the area’s popular cafes, Nulla Nulla, highlighting Cronulla’s fantastic outdoor cafe scene.”
NSW Minister for Trade, Tourism and Major Events Stuart Ayres said that promoting key products and experiences across the state was an important of part of the government’s role to attract intrastate and interstate visitors.
“Those planning a holiday should look no further than NSW, and tune in to Sydney Weekender on Saturday to discover why NSW is home to some of Australia’s best tourism products and experiences,” he said.
