Two of Australia’s favourite classical performers, Marina Prior and Mark Vincent, have joined forces to record a duets album, Together, which was released on April 15.
The album is produced by Australian producer Chong Lim (Delta Goodrem, Kylie Minogue, Olivia Newton-John, Tina Arena, David Campbell) and features new interpretations of the classics and opera favourites including, Music Of The Night, I Hate You Then I Love You and Amigos Para Sempre.
Mark fell in love with Marina’s voice at an early age and was excited by the opportunity to work with her.
‘‘I’ve always wanted to work with Marina – singing together created such a great bond between us and we’ve become great friends,’’ Mark said.

‘‘I think that shows in the songs we sing on Together – there’s an honesty between us.’’
Marina said the pair were on the same wavelength.
‘‘You have to be ‘simpatico’ and feel things together,’’ Marina said.
‘‘I think that we do that musically, but I also think that we click personally.
‘‘Music is just an extension of who you are, really. The work has to be true for it to resonate.’’
One of Australia's greatest leading ladies, Marina Prior has performed more than 20 leading roles in her musical theatre career, starring in such shows as Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Les Misérables and Mary Poppins. She is currently starring as Baroness Schraeder in the Australian tour of The Sound of Music.
Mark Vincent, a son of the shire, is a prodigious singing talent, with legions of fans nationwide after winning Australia’s Got Talent at the age of 15.
Now 22, has six albums under his belt, with more than 500,000 plus sales in Australia alone, making him a multi platinum artist.
He recently starred on stage in the highly acclaimed musical Dirty Dancing, and is making a name for himself in Australian opera and musical theatre.
Marina Prior will join Mark Vincent on the road for Two Heavenly Voices – One Magical Evening, a night of soaring opera arias, musical theatre showstoppers and well-loved popular songs.
