Robert Whittaker overcame a busted hand to score an impressive victory over Rafael Natal at UFC 197 in Las Vegas.
The 25-year-old now has a 17-4 record and is up to No.6 in the middleweight division after the unanimous decision.
It was Whittaker’s fifth win in a row and is unbeaten in his four fights since stepping up to middleweight.
The Sylvania Waters fighter was too good for the Brazilian and is ready to take on all comers in the division.
“The plan is to continue going up the ranks,” he said.
“Myself and my coaching staff don’t see a ceiling.
“I am just going to continue getting better.”
Whittaker showed great mental strength to earn the victory.
“I broke my hand early, my leg is a bit sore too,” he said.
“I should have checked some of those kicks but I got the win so it’s all good. I was looking for the finish.”
