St George Illawarra will look to bounce back from their disappointing loss to traditional rivals South Sydney last week when they host reigning premiers North Queensland on Saturday night.
The Dragons take on the Cowboys at WIN Stadium, Wollongong, with the defending champions without a number of their representative stars due to State of Origin selection.
Those losses include star halfback Johnathan Thurston.
St George Illawarra will be without Josh Dugan who is on NSW duty.
The Dragons slipped out of the top eight with their 10-point loss to Souths.
They are involved in one of only four games this weekend, with the majority of the competition enjoying a week off in the lead up to State of Origin I next Wednesday night.
Elsewhere this weekend Brisbane host the Wests Tigers, Canberra play Canterbury while Newcastle face Parramatta.
