Sutherland Shire Netball Association players got crazy for a good cause on Saturday to raise money for the Kids’ Cancer Project.
Scores of Sutherland players stepped on court with a range of crazy hairstyles and socks while playing their games.
Almost 40 associations across NSW – including St George and Sutherland – have registered to hold their own Crazy Hair and Sock Day this year.
Netball NSW hopes to raise more than $50,000 to help continue research to improve the lives of children with cancer.
Netball NSW general manager of commercial and corporate partnerships Tristan Prosser-Shaw said support for the events was appreciated.
Last year, 41 Associations held their own Crazy Hair and Sock Day which helped raise $46,000.
