Man dies in Royal National Park crash

Farnell Avenue in the Royal National Park has reopened after earlier being closed due to a serious car accident near the Princes Highway exit.​

A man has died after a crash in the Royal National Park today.

Just before 8am emergency services were called Farnell Avenue after reports a car had veered off the road and up an embankment.

Initial investigations suggest the driver suffered from an ongoing medical condition.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics but couldn’t be revived.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area with road closures in place.
