Two men have been arrested after a group of people were assaulted at a Kirrawee car wash on Saturday.
Sutherland Police said a group of women and men were at the car wash at 9.40pm when a van pulled up and stopped suddenly.
Police said the two men got out and assaulted people in the group before fleeing.
A short time later the pair returned to the car wash after police had already arrived..
A Miranda man, 23, believed to be the passenger, was handcuffed after resisting arrest.
A Kirrawee man, 24, believed to be the driver, was arrested after failing a roadside breath-test.
He was taken to Sutherland police station and recorded a second reading of 0.082.
His licence was immediately suspended and he was charged with mid-range drink-driving, affray and common assault.
He will appear in Sutherland Local Court on June 23.
The Miranda man was charged with three counts of common assault, malicious damage, affray and resisting arrest.
He will appear before Sutherland Local Court on June 16.
