Southern Districts missed their chance to take the outright lead in the Shute Shield when they suffered an upset 16-15 loss to Manly on Saturday.
Souths were unable to score a try at Manly Oval and relied on the boot of centre Rohan Saifoloi who kicked five penalty goals.
The Rebels are now level on 51 points with Randwick who upset leaders Sydney University.
Souths travel to Chatswood Oval to face Gordon on Saturday.
