Changes to the school zone at Caringbah High School and Caringbah North Public School are in force from today, June 27.
The length of the 40 km/h school zone will be reduced by 230 metres on Willarong Road and by 100 metres on Dianella Street.
Roads and Maritime Services reviewed the school zone earlier this year after a request from the community.
After discussions with both schools, it was proposed the existing school zone be reduced as the southern part the high school has been sold and is no longer a part of the school.
The 40 km/h school zone will continue to operate between 8am and 9.30am and 2.30pm to 4pm on school days.
