The new St Patrick’s Green Aged Care and Retirement Village at Kogarah is a step closer to completion with Brookfield Multiplex chosen to deliver the $80 million project.
The 21,000 square metre development will include three buildings set above a two level basement car park and will include 105 independent living units and a 92-room residential aged care facility.
It will also include a communal lawn, commercial kitchen and laundry, café, theatrette, dining, hair salon, gym and rehabilitation and training facilities.
It marks the second Kogarah project for Brookfield Multiplex this year with construction already well underway on the $307 million upgrade for St George Hospital at Gray Street.
Construction of retirement village is scheduled for completion by late-2017.
