Cronulla will represent Australia at the Junior League World Series in the US in August.
The Cronulla Junior League team won the under-15s Australian Junior League Championship in Adelaide. It is the first time a team from Australia has received direct qualification into the tournament.
The competition will be held in Taylor, Michigan and will feature some of the best young players from around the world.
Cronulla thrashed Manly 9-1 in their semi-final after Blake Cavill and Josh Pearl teamed up well on the mound for the Sharks, giving up only one earned run and striking out nine batters in a strong showing.
Offensively, three hits from Cavill and two from lead-off man Zac Lawrence enabled the Sharks to strike early and often.
In the final, Cronulla downed Ryde 7-4 in an entertaining game.
Cavill was a standout for Cronulla, striking out nine and not giving up a hit in four innings of work.
Cavill also showed promise with bat in hand, picking up a two-RBI triple to blow the game open in the middle innings.
Jake Burns was perfect at the plate for Cronulla, going 3-for-3 with an RBI.
Pinch hitter Adam Mustow hit well, claiming two hits and an RBI in the nine hole for Cronulla.
