Long time Menai resident Ken Stewart will bring his band Urban Guerillas back to the shire with a show at the Gymea Hotel next Friday night.
Urban Guerillas, an independent rebel rock outfit, were formed by singer/songwriter/guitarist Stewart in the early 1980s and sprang out of the pub punk scene in Adelaide.
The band has grown in prowess and stature over the years and fronts as an energetic and formidable live act, playing their own brand of Australian rock with quirky social observations.
Urban Guerillas will be joined by Spy v Spy for the Gymea gig, with audiences in for a night of relentless positive energy that only comes with attitude, passion and rebellion.
A revitalised Spy v Spy will pour out the hits so well known from their heyday working with Midnight Oil.
Urban Guerillas will perform tracks from their latest release My Kind, showcasing new material that is hitting a nerve with audiences across NSW.
