A woman pedestrian was killed when a car ran off the road and hit her at Brighton-Le-Sands today.
Emergency services were called to Moate Avenue just before 1pm.
Police said the woman, who was believed to be in her 70s, died at the scene.
The male driver wasn’t injured, but was taken to St George Hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers from St George Local Area Command are investigating.
