Applications for this year's Ron Rathbone local history prize will close later this month.
The competition, which began in 2006 to honour the former Rockdale mayor and passionate historian Ron Rathbone, fosters the research and writing of local history.
Entrants — including local school students — are asked submit a piece of research on any aspect of the Rockdale local government area.
Research subjects can include history, buildings, organisations, people, parks, natural features or events.
Submissions in all categories will close at 4.30pm Friday July 29.
