Disability service provider Civic has announced new housing and employment opportunities for people with disability in St George and the Sutherland Shire.
“Civic are now offering more services to people with disability and their families,” General Manager Kate Smith said.
“We have new supported employment opportunities in the Caringbah area; new shared living homes in Caringbah, Loftus and Oatley; NDIS assistance; personal support at home or in the community; and a new community participation hub in Hurstville opening very soon.
“At Civic the people we care for are at the centre of everything we do. We tailor support to meet the needs of each individual. It may be assistance with personal care, finding a home, learning new skills, making friends, finding a job or deepening ties with the community,” she said.

Ms Smith said that Civic provides a range of supports such as personal care, community participation, learning opportunities, social activities and transportation.
“Warehousing and administration supported employment roles are available for people who are eligible for the Disability Support Pension.
“Support worker and other job opportunities in the disability sector are also available,” she said.
