The next Music at Twilight concert will return to Kogarah next week, this time featuring the work of Gilbert and Sullivan.
For more than six years, the former Kogarah Council has been running the event, and the next one is scheduled for Wednesday.
Georges River Council administrator John Rayner said the event attracted some of the best entertainers from across the country.
“For this concert we have artists Louise Symes, Megan Chalmers, Gordon Costello, Andrew Symes and Gabe de Burgh performing the classic story of HMS Pinafore,’’ he said.
“Over the years the Music at Twilight Concerts have built a loyal following, with some people having attended every concert.
“These concerts are a fantastic opportunity to enjoy great music with friends and family.
“I encourage anyone who has a love or appreciation for music to come along to this event.”
Another concert is scheduled for Wednesday, October 5, and will feature the Sydney Concert String Ensemble as return performers to the concert series.
