We’ve shared photos of your lovable pups to mark National Dog Day – an annual celebration of a much-loved family pet.
The event is recognised on August 26 each year.
It was founded in 2004 by Pet and Family Lifestyle Expert and Animal Advocate, Colleen Paige, who is also the founder of National Puppy Day, National Mutt Day and National Cat Day.
Its mission is to acknowledge family dogs, raise awareness of the number of dogs that need to be adopted or rescued each year, and to recognise dogs that work selflessly each day to save lives and bring comfort.
