While enjoying an afternoon walk across the Como Bridge my daughter-in-law and I almost became victims of a speeding cyclist coming up behind us.
No bell, no vocal warning, wearing black gear, he sped off into the distance.
Had we moved a few centimetres in his direction on this narrow section the outcome would have been catastrophic.
This is not the first time I have encountered speeding cyclists on this shared pedestrian route. More signage is needed to alert pedestrians to the dangers as these speedsters have nil regard for others.
