The Cronulla Spring Festival was another great success this year with an estimated 30,000 visitors attending across the weekend.
Live entertainment, international food stalls, shopping, amusement rides, animal farm, classic car rally and even a visit for one of Sydney Trains’ vintage red rattlers at the station all combined with the perfect spring weather to make for a memorable Spring Festival weekend.
Highlights included Kids on the Green, back for its second year in the blooming gardens of Monro Park which was popular with its animal farm, circus playground and face painting.
The rides in Surf Road were also a big drawcard.
Spring Festival veterans, the Kirrawee High School Stage Band was a crowd favourite while Hot Potato performed on stage on Sunday giving energetic performance.
There was a range of international food on offer with Greek, Russian, French and Vietnamese.
Lovers of classic cars enjoyed the RSL Motoring Enthusiasts Club Show and Shine event in Peryman Square
There were a number of charity stalls which had a busy great weekend including the Red Cross and Kookaburra Kids who had a stall with a chocolate wheel and raffle tickets.
The Cronulla Crays also had a stall with lots for sale including cupcakes as a fundraiser for Cronulla Surf Club.
And to cap it off the mighty Cronulla Sharks celebrated a great win for the Sharks and the Mermaids drumming up lots of support for the team as it continues the charge into the finals
