Sticking together: The ducklings which were rescued by Sutherland police. Picture: NSW Police
Sutherland police have made an extra special rescue recently with a group of ducklings calling the station home.
Officers rescued the group of ducklings on Saturday night after their mother and father were hit by a car at Menai and killed.
Police were flagged down during a routine patrol and called to rescue the ducklings from a service station.
The ducklings were returned to Sutherland Police Station initially where they were looked after.
They were then taken to the Kirrawee veterinary hospital where they were assessed and will stay for the time being.
