Our Jay Brown (from Cronulla) didn’t let the small waves faze him in the 16-and-Under Boys final, posting a solid 15.00 heat total to claim the top position on the dais. Brown’s performance mirrored the same caliber of surfing that allowed him to claim the NSW Junior Title back in July. As a result of the win, Brown has earned himself a spot into the National Final, which will take place at Narrabeen in January 2017.
Ethan Huxtable (Jan Juc, Vic) made his journey north worthwhile, claiming the 12-and-Under Boys finals, Jarvis Earle (Cronulla) claimed fourth .
