English/Irish singer songwriter Jez Lowe will perform at Gymea Tradies on October 13.
Lowe is into his third decade as a song-writing troubadour and recently released a much acclaimed new album – his 19th – entitled The Ballad Beyond.
This year he has played to audiences right across the UK, as well as in Spain, Denmark, Canada and now Australia.
He recently performed two solo shows at Folk By The Sea festival in Kiama on September 23 and 24.
Lowe, who was a double nominee for the 2015 BBC Folk Awards for best singer and best song, also plays in a long-established band The Bad Pennies.
He is known for his compositions dealing with daily life in the north-east of England particularly his hometown of Easington.
Sutherland Acoustic, one of the oldest music club’s in the shire, is proud present Lowe’s visit to the shire.
