A manager at the Beverly Hills Hotel was assaulted by two men during an armed robbery at closing time.
Police were called to the hotel on King Georges Road about 1.45am on Monday.
A spokesman said police were told two men wearing face coverings and armed with a knife approached the manager, a man aged in his 30s, after closing for the night.
“The men threatened the manager and walked him back inside the hotel where they demanded money from the safe,” he said.
“The manager complied after being assaulted and the two men ran from the hotel with a sum of cash.”
The spokesman said the manager suffered minor injuries to his face and was treated by ambulance paramedics.
