Construction has started on the second to last residential apartment building planned at Discovery Point- the Marq.
Frasers Property has awarded the $95 million construction contract to national firm Probuild.
It is the third time the two have partnered together with the firm currently building the Shore building.
Marq will be made up of 231 apartments across two buildings of 14 levels.
The buildings will be joined by a landscaped private podium courtyard.
Frasers Property Australia General Manager of NSW Residential Nigel Edgar said the new building would bring the community one step closer to completion.
“After a decade of planning and construction, Frasers Property is putting the final touches on our multi-award winning Wolli Creek master planned community,’’ he said.
‘’The Marq residences will be a prime example of the contemporary lifestyle on offer at Discovery Point and we’re excited to see construction start.’’
The project includes one, two and three-bedroom units with prices ranging from $640,000 to $1,230,000.
Marq is scheduled for completion in mid-2018.
