The occupants of a Beverly Hills home escaped after their home was set alight overnight.
Police said the man, 35, and a woman, 20, were uninjured in the fire, ”which is being treated as arson”.
Emergency services were called to Collier Avenue about 2.10am on Monday.
Neighbours were able to extinguish the blaze before police arrived.
The fire was contained to the front door and porch area of the home.
St George police established a crime scene, which will be examined by forensic specialists.
“The incident is being treated as arson,” a police spokesman said.
“No witnesses have yet been identified and police would ask anyone who say anything suspicious in the area to come forward.”
