Man charged over Kogarah bus stop stabbing
A man, 30, has been charged over a stabbing at a Kogarah bus stop on the weekend.
About 12.30pm on Sunday, October 23, a man, 39, was sitting at the bus stop on Station Street with a friend when a man known to him approached with a knife.
Police were told the man was stabbed in the abdomen and assaulted before the assailant left the scene.
The wounded man was taken to St George Hospital.
A man, 30, was arrested when he attended Kogarah Police Station on Monday.
He was charged with wound with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and was refused bail to appear at Sutherland Local Court on Tuesday.
