Sutherland and St George will turn their attention to the shortest form of the game when they start their Twenty20 Cup campaigns on Sunday.
Sutherland host Manly-Warringah and Gordon in a double header at Glenn McGrath Oval in rounds one and two.
St George travel north of the bridge to face North Sydney at North Sydney Oval in their round one clash.
Saints were knocked out in the semi-finals last year by Manly, losing by 38 runs despite a Steve Cazzulino half century.
Sutherland weren’t as successful, downing Illawarra but losing to Norths, Newcastle and Sydney in their pool matches.
Sutherland are using the double header as a chance to host a family day at Glenn McGrath Oval and are inviting former players, family members and fans to attend.
The club will be running a $2 sausage sizzle from noon.
Sutherland’s match against Manly starts at 10am, with the clash with Gordon to start at 2.30pm.
