Toothy: A set of false teeth were found at North Cronulla beach this morning. Picture: John Veage
Beachgoers got more than they bargained for this morning after being greeted with a particularly toothy sight.
Leader photographer John Veage was at North Cronulla beach at around 5am on Thursday capturing the first sunrise of Summer.
It was by chance that he looked down and noticed something unusual- a set of false teeth.
He said it was one of the most unusual items he’s found.
‘’You always find things washed up in the seaweed,’’ he said.
‘’I’ve found swimming goggles, money, hats and sunglasses but never teeth.’’
He has kept the teeth for safekeeping and hopes to reunite them with its owner.
