A boat safety day will be held at the Muddy Creek Boating and Amateur Fishing Association club next week.
Boating education officers from Roads and Maritime Services along with volunteers from Marine Rescue will be on hand to demonstrate presentations and answer questions.
There will be practical displays on inflatable life jackets, flare demonstrations and how to use safety equipment.
Marine Rescue volunteers will also promote their marine radio operators tickets and the importance of logging on and off when heading out on the water.
There is plenty for the whole family with an education boat on site and a sausage sizzle.
There will also be boating information packs and giveaways on the day.
The event will be held from 1pm on Saturday, January 14, at 100 Bestic Street in Kyeemagh.
