The Australia Day celebrations at Illawong will be a combination of summer vibes and family fun.
The celebrations start at Blaxland Oval at 4pm with the official welcome by MC Graham Thom and the entertainment kicks off with the duo The Spring Breaks covering modern versions of classics through to current tunes.
Sydney covers band Enter Sideways heads the entertainment line-up along with Spring Breaks, the Crowdies and the Original Sin INXS Show.
For the kids, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be appearing in two shows, at 4.50pm and 6.20pm.
There will be plenty of other activities to keep the kids happy including jumping castles, petting zoo, wild trike rides, circus, and demonstrations by Southern Star Takekwondo, the SES and RFS.
Other features of the family-friendly celebrations includes the ANSTO Science Show, Symbio Wildlife Park animal display, face painting and balloon bending.
The Cronulla Sharks Mermaids will also be available to pose for selfies.
Food stalls and beverages available from 4pm to 9pm including the Sutherland Rotary barbecue.
The celebrations culminate in the fireworks spectacular at 9pm.
Transport options include a free return bus service from Bangor Shops to Blaxland Oval via Club Central Menai from 2pm to 10pm.
