Former Australian captain Michael Clarke is inviting St George and Sutherland Shire youngsters to his coaching clinic this month.
The clinic, held on January 24 at Bankstown Memorial Oval, is for boys and girls between 6 and 16-years-old.
Clarke, who has partnered with Chemist Warehouse to put together the clinic, said he looked forward to giving back to the game at the grassroots level.
“My goal is to help eager boys and girls develop their skills in our great game and there isn’t a better place to do it than in the Western Suburbs, where I grew up.
“I’m really excited to partner with Chemist Warehouse and looking forward to seeing the whole community get involved.”
Participants will have access to Michael and his team for the duration of the clinic as they run through all the basics skills and training required to become a better all-round cricketer.
A BBQ lunch will be provided as well as a bag full of goodies for every participant to take home, thanks to Chemist Warehouse.
