A man has been charged after a low speed pursuit through the Sutherland Shire on Wednesday.
Sutherland police were patrolling the Kirrawee area at around 12am when they saw a Toyota Hilux on the wrong side of Bath Road.
They spoke to the male driver and left soon after.
Around 50 minutes later police saw the same car on Waratah Street. They used their lights and siren to try and pull over the man but he did not stop.
Sutherland police said they started a low speed pursuit, following the car during a series of u-turns on the Princes Highway.
Police said the car tried to reverse into the police car at one point.
The driver was arrested when he drove into a dead end complex.
The Narrabeen man, 37, was charged with a police pursuit and two counts of disqualified driving.
He will appear in Sutherland Local Court on February 15.
