A woman, believed to be in her 50s, has been taken to St George Hospital in a critical condition after being hit by a truck in Bexley.
Shortly after 12pm emergency services were called to Stoney Creek Road, near the intersection of Salisbury Avenue, after reports of a crash.
Initial investigations suggest that a truck travelling west on Stoney Creek Road struck the woman as she got out of a parked car.
She was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to St George Hospital in a critical condition.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
He was taken to St George Hospital where he will undergo mandatory blood and urine tests.
A crime scene has been established and investigations are continuing.
