Police are seeking public assistance to help identify three people who may be able to assist with inquiries into a robbery at Wolli Creek railway station earlier this month.
About 11.50pm on Sunday, February 5, two males and a female approached the male victim demanding money and his phone on Platform 4 of the station.
The man refused. The offenders then punched and kicked the victim who ran from the scene.
Two of the three offenders gave chase into Discovery Point Place, where they then stole the victim's Samsung mobile phone before returning to the platform and boarding a north bound train.
The incident was reported to police from St George Local Area Command and inquiries commenced.
The man was treated by ambulance paramedics for facial injuries and bruising to his ribs.
Police have released CCTV of three people who may be able to assist with inquiries.
The first male is described as Caucasian appearance, about 160cm tall, with black hair, and he was wearing no shirt, black three quarter length pants, a white and black hat, red underwear, black jeans, a thick gold chain around his neck, and a blue and red t-shirt over his shoulders.
The second male is described as Caucasian appearance, with a brown rats tail, a blue ‘Nautica’ t-shirt, black and white shorts, a blue cap with sunglasses on them, wearing a brown shoulder bag, and black Nike joggers.
The woman is described as Caucasian, about 16-years-old, with brown hair, wearing a black singlet, black pants, a dark coloured jumper tied around her waist, and no shoes.
