A group of talented young dancers from The Dance Depot in Carlton will board a plane for New Jersey in July to compete in a prestigious, international event.
The dance school is currently fund raising to take 13 girls to the Star Dance Alliance’s World Dance Championship in early August in the US.
The dance school will be represented by two dance groups at the big event, taking over an under-12 team and an under-14 team.
The two groups qualified for the world champs following their contemporary dance performances at a qualifying event in Sydney last September.
They will hold a trivia night on April 8 to help fund raise for the big trip. To attend email Toni on bookings@thedancedepot.com.au.
