Police have assisted in a rescue operation after a man fell from a cliff over night.
Just after 12am this morning, emergency services were called to Buchanan Avenue, Bonnet Bay, following reports a man had fallen from a cliff.
Emergency services including Police Rescue, Fire and Rescue NSW, Ambulance NSW and officers from Sutherland Local Area Command attended and found a man, aged 25, had fallen about 20 metres down a cliff at the location.

Emergency services attended and the man was winched by Ambulance Helicopter about 4.40am.
He has been taken to St George Hospital for treatment.
