Re ‘‘Rangers warn on driveways’’ (Leader, February 15).
Can we stop warning people that park badly.
They can’t be that dumb that a footpath does not look like a footpath, or a corner. Parallel parking on the footpath, especially on a busy road, is also wrong.
Some areas are horrendous - you can hardly walk and stay on the path.

Maybe they can send the fine through to the planning department of the Local Council for not supplying sufficient parking and for the present over-development that appears to be increasing which is totally out of control. State Government can’t be forgotten here for their willingness to build anything anywhere.

I pay for my boat storage yet my neighbours think it’s OK to park their toys in our street where the local government has seen fit to approve granny flats with inadequate parking so our neighbours can profit.

What’s worse is people who rope off the front yard for no reason other than to keep people off the grass on the council strip.
There’s a house near our school and so many times I see kids walk in the middle of the road around boats parked next to it just to get past. So dangerous!

Hospital parking fees
As we all know, parking fees at St George Hospital are a disgrace.
Vulnerable people visiting the sick are slugged severely.
And as we all know, no one in management cares.
Was wondering if the profits of metro parking were checked out the company and the government could be embarrassed into reducing these fees.
Something has to be done!
