Kurt Hill is ready for the next step in his motorsport career, earning a start in the Formula Masters China Series.
And Hill’s team, Eurasia, has some serious pedigree. The team was home to Australian Formula 1 driver Daniel Ricciardo on his path to the big time.
Hill, from Yowie Bay, made his debut in the Skip Barber Racing Championship Series in America last year and enjoyed a successful rookie year, scoring four podium finishes throughout the 16-race series.
Hill has since been testing with 17 other competitors at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia, with Hill fastest over the two days of testing. He also set a track record at the Clark International Circuit in the Philippines.
The Formula Masters China Series will consist of five races, including two in Malaysia in April and May and three in China in June, July and September.
