RE the article ‘‘Kevin Greene’s council run’’ (Leader, March 29).
Kevin, I think it’s wonderful that you’ve been approached by so many of us in the community, and I certainly hope you will consider serving the community again.
You have so much support from us all!!
Brent Thomas
If the ALP wants any councillors elected, Kevin Greene included, they must campaign for no development on the Oatley bowlo site.
Karen Hanslow
Mr Greene, when you were the previous MP, Hurstville Council announced plans to develop the Oatley Bowling Club site and also to demolish the Mortdale Masonic Temple. Would you please clarify what assistance you gave to the community, which strongly campaigned to halt both of those projects? How will the new ALP councillors vote on the unpopular Oatley Bowling Club Planning Proposal?
Peter Mahoney
This guy fell asleep in parliament and now he wants to do the same on council. Sleep at home mate and save the ratepayers the cost.

Kevin Greene it seems you have not changed. You said you only wanted to run to help the community – or is it because you want to double dip and get paid your state government pension of over $150k a year plus now your councillor fees if elected. I don’t think you are doing it for the community.
Matt Stirling
Run as an Independent, Mr Greene! Don’t join those old Hurstville Labor councillors who voted for the Oatley Bowling Club development in secret.
A. Brien
Kevin Greene got us the station lifts at Mortdale and Penshurst. I’d love to see him on the council but Kevin should stay well away from party politics.
