Police investigations are continuing following a string of robberies and attempted robberies targeting pizza shops in Sutherland Shire in January and February.
About 10.30pm on Sunday, January 22 a man entered a pizza shop on Kiora Road, Miranda and threatened an employee with a knife, took cash from the register and left the store via Karimbla Road.
About 10.20pm on Tuesday, January 31 a man entered a pizza shop on Port Hacking Road, Caringbah and demanded cash.
An employee ran to the rear of the store, and the man left the store empty-handed.
About 9.50pm on Wednesday, February 1 a man entered a pizza shop on Old Princes Highway, Engadine armed with a knife and demanded cash.
A store employee gave the man an amount of cash before the man left the store on foot.
About 10.15pm on Saturday, February 25 a man entered a pizza store on Kiora Road, Miranda armed with a knife and demanded cash.
An employee ran toward the back of the store and screamed for help. A number of other employees approached the man who turned and left the store.
Police believe the four incidents are related and would like to speak to a man shown in CCTV images who may be able to assist with inquiries.
He is described as being 180cm tall, with a medium build and is shown in the images wearing a blue hooded jacket, dark grey shorts and green shoes.
