Sixty athletes from across St George and Sutherland Shire will travel to Melbourne for the Australian Gymnastics Championships next month.
The gymnasts, representing 10 clubs, will compete across all five gymsports at a range of levels.
The athletes were named in the Gymnastics NSW state representative team after a number of selection trials.
More than 1,400 gymnasts will compete for the title of Australian champion over 12 days of competition. They will compete across acrobatic, men’s artistic, rhythmic, trampoline and women’s artistic disciplines.
Hisense Arena in Melbourne will host the championships for the fourth year in a row, starting on May 22 before finishing on June 4.
