Two jam-packed days of art and craft exhibitions, stage shows, dance performances, auctions, raffles and rides can be expected from this year’s Oyster Bay Art and Craft Festival.
The festival is the biggest of its kind in Sutherland Shire and will be held from May 26 to 28 at Phillip Street, Oyster Bay.
Now in its 47th year, the festival attracts thousands of people annually who come to view the array of quality paintings and beautiful craft work displayed.
Co-ordinator Rory Macdonald said it will be another busy event that thousands of visitors can enjoy.
“There really is no other festival like this in the Sutherland Shire,” he said.
“It gives up and coming artists the opportunity to display their work, and people who are interested in art can snap up a bargain.”
The festival will showcase many artists including this year’s feature artist Doreen Shaw, who has won more than 160 awards for her art.
