Night road work could take disrupt traffic on Forest Road, Bexley, for more than five months from July.
Roads and Maritime Services invited feed feedback on two options for the work, between Stoney Creek Road and Wollongong Road.
A spokeswoman said the work could be carried out for up to five nights a week for 13 weeks, or three nights a week for 22 weeks.
“For both proposals, work hours would be between 8pm and 5am, excluding Saturdays and public holidays,” she said.
“Noisier activities such as saw cutting and jack hammering would be completed by midnight to minimise the impact to residents and businesses.
“Work will involve investigating utilities, repainting road markings, establishing ground conditions and removing and replacing asphalt, kerbs and guttering.
“Work will be carried out in stages, with the first stage to start in July.”
Feedback is invited by June 12 to: Ventia Boral Amey Joint Venture, PO Box 838 Rockdale NSW 2216, or email: nswenquiries@vbajv.com.au
