Cronulla fell 18-13 to Melbourne on Thursday night as they continued a disappointing run of home form.

The Sharks have now won just three of their seven matches at Southern Cross Group Stadium after they were edged out by the Storm in a thrilling match.

Cronulla hit the lead inside the final 10 minutes through a James Maloney field goal only for the Storm to snatch victory through a Felise Kaufusi try.

Meanwhile, Cronulla’s under-20s team stayed on top of the Holden Cup table with an impressive 28-20 win over Melbourne.

Cronulla’s women’s side also had a win, downing South Sydney 24-10.
