Several shots were fired during a clash between two groups of men at a Bexley service station overnight.
Police do not know whether anyone was injured in the incident, which occurred about 3am on Wednesday in the car park of the service station on the corner of Frederick Street and Forest Road.
St George police responded to reports of gunfire.
“Initial inquiries suggest a group of males were involved in an argument when a second group of males, armed with firearms, started to shoot as they approached the first group,” a police spokesman said.
“It is unknown if anyone was injured during the incident.
“Police established a crime scene, which will be examined by forensic specialists and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
