The ACU Cronulla Sharks have made 2017 a year to remember, winning the under-14s national championship title.
The young Sharks took out the men’s under-14 A division at the tournament in Albury Wodonga over the Easter weekend in April.
Cronulla were one of 32 teams from across Australia to compete in the six day championships.
The Sharks had anything but an easy path to the final, having to beat the best team from Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia to reach the decider against fellow Sydney representatives, University of NSW Wests.
In an intense final, Cronulla edged their Sydney rivals 7-6 to be crowned national champions.
